Live FM was established in Summer 2006 as a weekly podcast show by Denzil Lacey. The shows consisted of a mix of talk and music - the music being chart based.

We then moved onto live streaming in 2008 with the aid of our brand new website, our format changed to "The Best Mix Around" with the best mix of music from the 80's, 90's and now. We also went digital with the use of radio automation "DirEttore 1.7.0 Professional" which we still use to this day for all our audio.

Since the beginning, we have always wanted to concentrate in getting local artists to send in their demos and we would also love on-air interviews to promote their work. To find out more on what we can do for you email: Bands@brayfm.com

In 2008, The station haad seen some major developments. The first being the upgrade to our servers, computers and equipment due to advances in technology. Live FM also brough Lucy Chase onto the team, who designed all or graphics. On October 1st 2008, The station re-branded with a new logo and schedule. We are continuing to upgrade our services on a daily basis.

 

In late 2008, As a result of the Irish Budget 2009, Live FM launched it's new slogan "Taking you through the recession in style" as we will be playing an even better variety of music dispite the recession. Coming in 2009, some big news!!
